Matching
Exact match is the default. Turn on ignore-case to treat Apple and apple as the same line. Trailing spaces can be ignored separately.

Is the first or last duplicate kept?
The first. Later copies are dropped.
Are blank lines unique?
One blank line is kept if you leave keep-blanks on.
Can I see how many were removed?
Yes. The status line shows before and after counts.
Does sort happen automatically?
No. Use Sort Lines if you want alphabetical order.
Is this a spreadsheet formula?
No. It is a local text filter.
