QR Code Generator
Make a scannable code from a URL or text.
Loading tool
Type a link and download a code you can print or paste into a slide. Encoding stays in this tab.
How to use this tool
- Enter the source text. Type the URL, password rules, or other input the generator needs.
- Generate. Create the code, image, or snippet in this tab.
- Copy or download. Save the SVG, CSS, or text. Refreshing the page starts over.
Error correction
This generator uses ECC M, a middle setting that still scans after light wear. Higher levels survive dirt and a small logo but make the matrix denser and harder to scan when printed small.
Long URLs
Byte mode encodes typical HTTPS links, UTM strings, and WIFI: payloads. Very long text still encodes; print it larger so a phone camera can resolve the modules.
Frequently asked
Can I put a logo in the middle?
Yes, at medium or high correction. Keep the logo under about 20% of the area.
Will it open Wi-Fi settings?
If you fill the Wi-Fi form, phones that support WIFI: strings can join without typing the password.
Is there a character limit?
Short URLs scan more reliably. Very long text still encodes but needs a larger print.
Does the code expire?
The pixels do not expire. If you encoded a short link, that host may expire.
Is the URL sent to a QR API?
No. The matrix is drawn locally.
