Sizes
The pack includes 16, 32, 48, and 180 pixel PNGs plus an ICO that bundles the small sizes. Apple touch icons use the 180 PNG.
Privacy
Files never leave the device. Your logo is not stored after you close the tab.

Should the source already be square?
A square source avoids surprise crops. You can still center-crop here.
Do I still need a link tag?
Yes. Point rel=icon at the 32 PNG or the ICO, and apple-touch-icon at 180.
Can I use SVG as a favicon?
Modern browsers accept SVG icons. This pack is for ICO and PNG fallbacks.
Why does 16px look muddy?
Fine strokes vanish at 16. Simplify the mark or design a separate tiny glyph.
Is the ICO a real multi-resolution file?
Yes. It contains the small PNG-derived bitmaps in one download.
